Last week, our remarkable Student Action Ambassadors once again showed what it means to lead with empathy, initiative, and strength, by organising a heartfelt fundraising event to support a staff member impacted by the recent floods.
A Student-Led Fundraiser Driven by Compassion
Inspired by the school’s core values of connection and collaboration, the students initiated a cake stall fundraiser, an idea that quickly grew into a collective act of solidarity. With guidance from our Coordinator of Student Wellbeing and generous baked good donations from families and staff, the event was set in motion with energy and care.
From the earliest planning stages to the final crumb sold, the Student Action Ambassadors drove the entire process. They crafted promotional materials, organised logistics, and took on every aspect of the event with determination and maturity. The student leaders demonstrated leadership in action—balancing planning with passion and teamwork with empathy.
Sweet Moments and Stronger Bonds
The school’s common area transformed into a vibrant hub of connection. The aroma of cupcakes, brownies, and biscuits drew students and staff together in a moment of warmth and unity. Beyond raising funds, the event sparked conversations, laughter, and genuine connection, exactly the kind of community spirit Allegra is known for.
