Professional Learning Partnerships in 2026

Learning together, to strengthen what we do for every student

At Allegra School, we are always looking for ways to strengthen the learning experiences we create for our students, and to keep growing as educators and as a school community.

In 2026, we are excited to be entering into two new professional learning partnerships that will support our staff to continue developing evidence informed practice, deepen our shared language around learning and wellbeing, and build even stronger pathways for student growth.

These partnerships reflect our commitment to continual improvement, meaningful collaboration, and ensuring our team has access to the best possible professional learning opportunities.

Why professional learning partnerships matter

Professional learning is one of the most powerful ways schools can strengthen student outcomes. When educators learn together, share ideas, reflect on practice, and build consistency across a school, students benefit directly through:

  • more responsive teaching approaches
  • stronger learning routines and classroom structures
  • improved wellbeing and engagement
  • clearer pathways for growth, achievement, and belonging
  • a school culture that values progress and possibility

At Allegra, we see professional learning as something that is practical, collaborative, and grounded in the everyday work of supporting students. It is not an add on, it is part of who we are.

Partnership 1: Safe House Schools

In 2026, Allegra School will be working alongside Safe House Schools to strengthen our collective approach to student wellbeing, connection, and safety.

Safe House Schools is known for supporting schools to build environments where students feel understood, supported, and able to engage with learning, even when school has previously felt difficult.

This partnership will support our team to continue building consistent approaches across the school, with a focus on:

  • student wellbeing and emotional safety
  • trauma informed and relational practice
  • proactive strategies to support regulation and engagement
  • strengthening communication and shared language across staff
  • developing environments where students can reconnect with learning

For many of our students, the foundation of learning is trust. This partnership will help us keep strengthening that foundation, so students can feel secure, supported, and capable.

Partnership 2: Real Schools

We are also proud to be partnering with Real Schools in 2026, supporting our ongoing work in student engagement, culture, and learning growth.

Real Schools provides professional learning that focuses on building strong school culture through practical, research informed strategies that support both staff and students.

Through this partnership, our staff will deepen and refine our approach to:

  • engagement and motivation in learning
  • consistent routines and high expectations with care
  • building positive culture through relationships
  • supporting student voice and agency
  • strengthening the conditions for learning success

This partnership aligns strongly with Allegra’s focus on helping students grow in confidence, capability, and independence.

What this means for students and families

These partnerships are about strengthening what we already do well, and continuing to grow as a school.

For students, it means they will be supported by staff who are constantly developing new strategies and shared approaches that improve consistency and impact.

For families, it means you can feel confident that Allegra continues to invest in best practice, staff learning, and the ongoing development of a school culture built on support, connection, and growth.

Looking ahead

We are genuinely excited about what 2026 will bring, and we look forward to sharing updates as these partnerships begin.

As always, our focus remains clear: creating supportive and transformative learning experiences, where every student can feel accepted, connected, and supported to thrive.
