The School Board: Guiding the Future of Our School

The School Board plays a vital role in ensuring the continued success and growth of our school. Comprised of dedicated volunteers, the Board oversees governance and strategic direction, ensuring that the school remains aligned with its mission, vision, and values.

Our current Board members are:

  • Jared Young – Chair
  • Peter Cleal – Treasurer
  • Taso Nicoladis – Public Officer
  • Jasmine Nelson – Secretary
  • Andre Lekas – Board Member
  • Melissa Hogan – Board Member

Each of these individuals commits countless hours to supporting the school, working behind the scenes to ensure that it meets the needs of our students, staff, and the wider community. As volunteers, they give their time freely, driven by a shared passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact.

The Board is responsible for providing oversight and strategic leadership. They work closely with the school leadership team to uphold strong governance, ensure financial sustainability, and guide decision-making that reflects the values of acceptance, connection, and collaboration. Their efforts help shape the future of the school, ensuring that it remains an inclusive and forward-thinking learning environment.

By upholding the school’s mission of “creating supportive and transformative learning experiences”, the Board ensures that every decision made contributes to student success and well-being. Their leadership also supports the school’s vision of being at the forefront of inclusive, individualized education.

The contributions of the School Board are invaluable, and their dedication deserves recognition. Their commitment ensures that the school continues to thrive, meeting the needs of the community while fostering a positive and enriching learning environment for all.
