The recent STEAM showcase at Allegra was a resounding success, captivating parents with the incredible work of students from the Year 9 STEM class, Year 10 Maths class, and Year 10 Visual Arts class. The Year 9 STEM class impressed with their projects integrating circuits and paper construction, demonstrating their understanding of challenging situations and risk-taking behaviour in PDHPE. Teachers Sooz (Visual Arts) and Kylie (STEM) were instrumental in guiding these students, who showcased their skills with modelling clay, cutter machines, and various other tools. The Year 10 Maths class showcased their proficiency in scale factors and precise drawings, creating intricate designs that showcased a wide range of skills. Meanwhile, the Year 10 Visual Arts class wowed attendees with their beautiful Chinese lantern-inspired artworks. The event, held in Room 5, was a testament to the dedication and hard work of both students and teachers, particularly Sooz and Kylie, who went above and beyond to ensure the exhibition was a memorable experience for all. The showcase was open during two time slots, from 2-3 pm and 5-6 pm, ensuring that all parents had the opportunity to witness the creativity and innovation of Allegra's students firsthand.
